Beginning September 22, 2026
For the safety and well-being of all students, teachers, and staff members, we have
revised our current student drop-off and pick-up procedures.
Beginning September 22, 2026
Morning Drop-Off: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Afternoon Pick-Up: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
During these designated times, parents and guardians will be directed to the back
parking lot, where they will be able to safely drop off and pick up their students.
Please be advised that during these times, there will be NO ACCESS to the following
areas for parent/guardian vehicles:
- Teacher/Staff Parking Lot
- Access Road Behind the School
- Bus Loop
- Student Parking Lot
These changes are being implemented to help reduce traffic congestion, improve
vehicle and pedestrian flow, and, most importantly, ensure the safety of everyone on
school grounds.
We greatly appreciate the continued patience, cooperation, and support of our school
community as we work together to provide a safe environment for all students, teachers, and staff members.

Our annual Meet the Teachers Night will take place in person on Thursday, September 24th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. You will have the opportunity to meet your student’s teachers and learn more about their coursework and expectations for the year.
After a brief principal's welcome, you will cycle through each period on your student’s schedule. Classes will meet for approximately 11 minutes, and we will announce the end of the period. At that time, you will move to the next class. Please bring a copy/screenshot of your student’s schedule. If you forget your student’s schedule, we can print a copy for you in the main office.

The Blackstone Valley Youth Leadership Academy works with both middle and high school cohorts, providing students with leadership development and career exposure.
BVYLA allows students to build leadership skills through real-world experiences, connect with peers from schools across the region, and learn directly from business, community, and civic leaders. Throughout the program, students strengthen skills like communication, collaboration, confidence, problem-solving, and self-awareness while exploring what leadership can look like in their schools, communities, and future careers.

Dear Parent or Guardian,
As we partner to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all students, we want to remind families of the high school health documentation required by Massachusetts state law (M.G.L. c. 71, s. 57 and 105 CMR 220.000.
Regulations from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health require all students entering Grades 11 to submit proof of a booster dose of the Meningococcal Conjugate (MenACWY) vaccine.
Specific Vaccine Requirements:
-
Meningococcal Booster (MenACWY): The first dose is generally given in 7th grade, on or about age 12. A second/booster dose is strictly required for students entering Grades 11 and must be administered after the age of 16.
Physical Exam Reminder:
Along with immunization records, please ensure your child has a copy of a recent physical examination on file. State law requires physicals for all students, grade 4, 7, & 10.
Please have your healthcare provider complete an updated immunization record/physical and provide a direct printout from your doctor's office. Please return these forms to the school health office or have them faxed 508-966-4183.
Please note physicals for athletics, do not come to the health office and separate copy must be provided.
If you have questions regarding your child's vaccination status or need assistance, please contact us at 508-966-4855.
Sincerely,
Susan Young BSN,RN,BSW,NCSN

The Hispanic and Latin Organization of Leaders in Action (HOLA), an employee resource group at DESE, invites student artists to submit their artwork about Hispanic or Latino identity or culture to be featured in DESE’s Board meeting rooms in late September in honor of Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month. The theme is “Our Diversity is Our Strength.” Students may submit originals or copies of visual art – including but not necessarily limited to drawings, collages, paintings, murals, sculptures, computer illustrations, and photographs. Students may submit work created specifically for this event or work created previously that fits the theme.
The selection committee will prioritize showcasing work from a variety of schools across the Commonwealth. Submissions are due by Monday, September 14. HOLA will make their selections and share their decisions by Friday, September 18. All entries should be submitted using this student art submission form. The submission form includes space for the artist’s name, school, grade, sponsoring teacher, a scan or photo of the piece, the media used, and an optional space for an artist statement.
